Programme Description

Mitch became a successful sports columnist after graduating from the college, despite his childhood dream of being a pianist. By chance he saw his college professor Morrie 16 year ago on the television and knew that he was dying, so he was prompted to travel from Michigan to Massachusetts to visit him every Tuesday. These 14 meetings eventually turned into one inspiring and universal lesson for him: the meaning of life and death.

Adapted from the same-name global bestseller and premiered in 2007, Tuesdays with Morrie has not only become one of the longest-running stage productions in Hong Kong, but has also toured worldwide and graced the stages of Beijing, Macau, Guanghzou, and as far as Los Angeles and Toronto to earnest response. In 2015, it is making a triumphant return to Kwai Tsing Theatre to continue the life lesson that gives you a different meaning every time you watch it.
